Cozy neutrals, would perfectly summarize the show as a whole. Dolce&Gabbana showed that men can look elegant and masculine without wearing suits.
For the Fall / Winter collection The Masters of Art, the Dolce & Gabbana duo turned into the craftsmen behind every costume, pair of shoes and accessory. In the collective portrait of the master – be it a tailor, furrier or shoemaker – the designers included clothes made from textured materials: chunky knit woolen sweaters, utilitarian jackets with many pockets, sheepskin outerwear and many more. The main accessory has also significantly increased in size – a huge knitted scarf, several times tied around the neck.
Sweaters
Italy has proven to be an endless source of inspiration for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The
designers gave one of the main attention in the autumn-winter collection of 2020 to knitted clothes, thus
paying tribute to traditional crafts making it the main theme. For example, the prototype of one sweater
shown at the show was made by hand by craftswomen and handpicked goat fluff for cashmere sweaters.
Blazer
In the fall-winter 2020 collection, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana chose simple colors that
set off textures. For example, a jacket with a lightweight design was made in neutral black. The
shade only accentuates branded embroidery on the breast pocket. A black jacket from the
autumn-winter collection of 2020 can become the basis of the total black image: complement
the blazer with a shirt, trousers and shoes to match.
Coats
Double breasted coat are especially in popular this season and Dolce&Gabbana quickly turned classic models into something new and yet practical. For Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the Fall / Winter 2020 collection has become a way to show respect for handicraft. For sewing a model with a wide collar, the designers chose a dense woolbased material that does not let the wind through. Classic coats by Dolce&Gabbana can be styled with a casual or formal looks.
Jeans
Jeans from the fall / winter 2020 collection will automatically relax your everyday look with a sweater and coat or bomber jacket. For this, the masters of the brand decorated the finished product with scratches: they are made by hand, making each pair unique. Gray jeans from the fall / winter 2020 collection will be a good alternative to the usual blue in your daily wardrobe. So that the denim does not constrain movement, a little elastane was added to jeans. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana chose soft durable cotton for sewing.
